Do think you’ve got what it takes to design, paint or draw the coolest band backdrop? Banner World are offering over £1500 worth of prizes in a new competition to win a fabulous band backdrop for your band. Our Judging Panel is made up of leading music industry professionals. 4 lucky winners will win a full colour custom band backdrop, fully printed with their own winning artwork.

All you have to do is submit your Band Backdrop design to us using the form by January 8th 2019.

Your design can be a sketch, painting, or image file i.e. jpeg /or vector file (pdf, illustrator, eps file etc).

Any type of band or performing group is welcome to enter – Metal, Grunge, Rock, Acoustic, Punk, Ska, Pop, Brass Band, Classical or Country! You can be a big signed band or a local covers group – just a band who would benefit from one of these super prizes!

All of our fabulous band backdrops are dye sublimation printed at exceptional quality onto premium flame-retardant fabrics, then professionally finished to specification.

How to enter

Entries need to be in before January 8th 2019

• Artwork must be original.
• Entry artwork must be supplied in the following formats – pdf, jpeg, eps, ai.
• Please use the simple form on this page.
• Entries can be from any band worldwide.

The Judging Panel

Our panel includes several top music industry professionals plus the design and production team from Banner World.
We’ll be judging based on the overall design and impact of your backdrop.

Andy Farrow, MD, Northern Music Company. After over 20 years in the business, Northern Music Co. has had consistent success with predominantly rock-orientated acts, achieving over thirty Top 30 Album chart positions and sales in excess of three million.

Alex Byford and the team from Ernie Ball, the world’s largest manufacturer of guitar strings.

Ian Bradshaw and the team at KORG UK, manufacturers of some of the finest and most innovative instruments available for musicians.

Picking the winners!

A shortlist of 10 entries will be decided upon by our panel of industry experts and announced on January 15th 2019.

Fans will then vote from the shortlisted entries and the 4 winners will be announced on Friday February 1st 2019.

The entry with the most votes will take their pick from the wonderful prizes on offer. Second place will then pick, and so on.

Other stuff…

• We will be using the backdrops for marketing / social media / photographic and video purposes. So, your band will get plenty of extra publicity!
• Your backdrop will be delivered in approx 12 working days.
• We will cover shipping costs to UK and mainland Europe destinations. If you are outside of these zones there may be a small charge to cover our costs.
• Your contact details will NOT be used for any other promotion or by any 3rd party.
